So far so good (and thank you everyone for your well-wishes).  His biggest 
complaint now is boredom as he sits around the house and heals.

He gets the occasional visitor, but too many of his friends have jobs!

He's cut back so far on the pain meds that the nurse on his followup 
appointment expressed surprise.  But he's used to post-surgical pain, 
unfortunately.

So we're doing about as good as we could hope for!  College in the fall will be 
starting a bit later than he'd hoped..... but that's a minor complaint, all 
things considering!
