Amen to that. The DA 35 Macro is, esthetically, my favourite lens. And
I'm constantly annoyed that there's no split prism or ground glass in my
finders. (Before anyone suggests a Katzeye, forget it. I don't have the
required finger nimbleness or eyesight to install it.)
I also used to spot my own prints, look up integrals in a book, and
memorize telephone numbers.
I don't think it's a sin to hope and expect that things get easier and better.
Yes it is a sin. Everything should stay as it was, and I can offer a
legion of folk songwriters who will vouch for that.
