I'll probably wait to reply to any other comments, but Jack...

That was eXactly my reaction. So I guess I captured whatever I was trying
to capture. Thanks.

Subject: PESO: Blue Cross

I've shown these before on list, but it's been a few years.

A friend visited me recently and I took him around for a day and night of
photography. He used to live in this area, but moved before this happened
so it was worth showing it to him.

The Crosses of Lafayette (my home town, but not where I live now) was
started as a war protest and then evolved into a war protest/memorial.
When we
went I discovered many more crosses had been "adopted." It commemorates
the
fallen soldiers of Iraq, and now, Afghanistan. If you want to know more,
google it.

As we were there two more people came along to take pictures. It is right
across from a BART station so many see it.

I found this one particularly affecting.

Comments welcome.

I'll probably do a second GESO.
