I wrote to the seller of a chrome (silver) KX with 3 lenses at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1336001762 to ask which lens models, exactly, the camera comes with. The answer is:
SMC Pentax 135/3.5K (not the M) SMC PENTAX-M 50/1.7 SMC PENTAX-M 28/2.8 The KX and 135 would make a great walk-around combo. Why settle for the dime-a-dozen M when the K is just a bit longer and just 2 ounces heavier? I have about six current links to the SMC 135; when you can find it, it goes for $70 to $90. Dealers sell working chrome KXs for about $150 to $180. To paraphrase Saint Augustine's divine entreaty about overcoming lust, "Dear Father, help me overcome my desire for more bodies and lenses, only not just yet."
