Back to the SMC Tak 135/2.5. This screwmount lens was available in two versions, One is better than the other. If I remember, they're not easily distinguishable visibly, but the dimensions are slightly different, and I think one has an additional stop marked on the DOF scale. You might find more info in the archives. Once upon a time, we talked about screwmount lenses quite a bit. There's also a K mount version of the better lens. I had one of those and only recently sold it. Excellent lens. But -- dare I say it -- with the DA* 50-135/2.8 in my box, it was redundant and no longer used.
