Hi, Nitin, ~Precisely!~
Honestly, I think the K1000 is over-rated, not under-rated. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a wonderful body, for what it was intended for, and for the it's price when it was introduced. But this whole "ideal student's camera" thing has it over-valued at the used shops, on eBay, etc. You can get an equivalent (maybe better?) camera for less $$ if you want a used Spot - and then you get to use those wonderful screwie Taks - or you can get a better camera with more features in the KM, KX, MX, for the same or not much more $$. Like I said, no knock on the K1000, but at it's current used price, I vote over-rated... -frank Nitin Garg wrote: > that doesnt make it under-rated now, does it ? > > > > 1. fine wine is supposed to improve in its performance (taste, punch > > whatever) with age.
