Alan,
    The poor P50 came out at the time AF took hold and was considered a poor
sister to the AFs. I have one and I would rather use it than a P30.
    The sample I have has a rectangular microprism that takes up about 1/3
of the screen area. The first I have seen and the last that I saw. For that
reason alone, I kept the camera and use it from time to time.
    A great camera at the wrong time.
