hardly! Futura is a starkly geometric sans — all circles and angles — while Helvetica, though it uses a similar even stroke, is full of ellipses and odd twists; compare the lower case a, c and y for quick examples


 Minion Pro is a copy of Times

Minion is not a copy of Times New Roman; a close look shows many differences — overall, Minion has slabbier serifs, is more delicate on the tips and joints, and has interesting elbows where curves start to flatten out; however Minion was intended to replace Times, so it is similarly compact visually; practically, Minion is a lot more flexible
