Hopefully the new mirrorless is APS-C.
So, I was drinking with Ned and John last week, and after the third
round of Islay malt, they let some details slip.
The new mirrorless won't be APS-C, it'll be the 645M. Pentax figures
that there will be too much competition in the market space between
APS-C and the Q sensors, and folks that want a big sensor, want a BIG
sensor. The cost of the medium format sensors is only going to drop
with time (as the performance of the Q sensor improves), so they are
going to stake out the Medium Format Mirrorless market. It'll use the
same sensor as the 645D, but will have the same registration distance as
the Q. Adapters will be available to use any Pentax camera lens. On
lenses where the body can read the lens ID, it will automatically set
the crop factor (so an FA lens with a large image circle may be larger
than 24x36) or the image area on the sensor can be manually set. Most
of the electronics and software will be shared with the 645D, and with
the simpler mechanicals, they'll be sell it at $8,000 rather than $10,000.

Shouldn't the rumors start to fly next week?
