This was shot at 1600.  I was shooting another subject in the shade,
and when I saw these characters, I shot without changing settings, as
they only paused for a moment.  Bad decision.

Their faces were in deep shadow, from the hats.  I tried to lighten
the image enough to show some of the facial expression, but I go a lot
of noise.  When I filtered out the noise, I got the soft focus on the
faces, and on the legs of one boy whose legs were very pale and
therefore blown out.

Obviously, I messed this shot up badly, and posted it to see what
constructive comments I might get to correct a mess like this.  I
appreciate your taking the time to look and comment.
