However, I have been doing some reading, and it sounds like other manufacturers' image finish modes are available in this panel... http://www.lightroomforums.net/archive/index.php/t-9697.html?s=56e7020e2f7e139f3a13decff4c56ae8 In the link above, if you read through, it seems that not even the LR folks are completely aware of whats going on with the pentax camera-generated dng files... > > As for whether the different in-camera finish settings can influence LR when > DNGs are imported, I haven't a clue. Yes, I've never really messed with any of these settings either... until yesterday. I had a pile of photos from my son's cross country meet that I was trying to finish up in a hurry (facebook, you know!), and ran across it... I liked the effect that changing them all to the "embedded" profile had... assumed it was accessing the "bright" mode of the k-5 default setting ( I hadn't changed it)... and then, it was down the rabbit hole from there... :) -c > > -bmw > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and > follow the directions. > -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
