I spent a few minutes playing with my DFA 50 macro getting some shots of
the newest mushroom crop. Live view is extremely handy for taking
ground level macros. I suspect that a u 4/3 camera (for more depth of
field than APS), with a newest generation sensor, and no mirror to
bounce could make an amazing camera for macro work.
I really like this bay leaf and mushroom combination (not a bad start on
a tasty soup, I imagine, I wonder if it's poisonous?), but can't decide
which of two compositions works best.

The 1st one is a standout among a fine collection of mushroom
landscapes. The 2nd one has a blurred object in the front that distracts
me. Great work!
