I remembered that there /is/ a photo of me with my Epic mountain bike so I've dug it out. This was taken in 2008, on what may have been its first ride. I'm leaning against the Packhorse Hut which is used as an overnight stay by trampers.

It was my dream bike so I raided my savings account now that the price had become reasonable. The bank saw it as a suspicious transaction and cut off my credit card without bothering to tell me. At the moment I don't ride it as much as I'd like to due to the state of the tracks.
