My working bike (as most of you know I'm a bike messenger) is a
Fondriest track bike - single speed, fixed gear, no brakes. Aluminium
frame, carbon fork, handmade in Italy, at about 18 pounds it's not
light but it suits me well. I could shed several pounds if I went for
super lightweight components, but that would cost lots and might
affect durability. Here it is after a working day in the winter, with
fenders (they come off the other three seasons) and lights:

My other bike has not yet been put together but it's an old mid-90s
Marinoni road frame. I've had it a couple of years now but I haven't
had the money to get it roadworthy:

cheers,
