H'lo Bob, I experimented with those modes for awhile after I bought the PZ-1p, just to see how they worked. They do work as described in the manual but, I haven't used them since. They are not really needed if a guy has a bit of knowledge. They would be pretty good for a beginner to use until he figures out what they are doing and then just does it on his own.
