I also prefer the kayak version. The colors with the ducks are nice, but something I try to keep in mind with my own work is that photographs are like sentences, the best ones have both a subject and a verb. There's actually something happening in the kayak photo.

I converted to b&w as the colours were already monochrome.  This was
taken with a 200mm lens, the other with a 90mm.  I think this is a
"good" shot, and that's all.
