At this point I am not sure which is "first" or "second" - what you say is 1st 
is not the one I saw posted before. But that doesn't matter.
Of the two, I very much prefer the pose with the model seated and looking at 
the camera. I very much do not care for the one with the model standing, 3/4 
view. The standing pose looks very awkward, it looks like a pose, the facial 
expression makes me think that she is about to lose her balance and fall over 
but trying very hard to maintain the pose, and she isn't even all that 
attractive because of the pose+angle+lighting+tan marks. If I were shooting a 
model for prints for her portfolio, I would not include this in the proofs I 
showed her. The seated model is very natural, a pleasant expression, 
comfortable with herself.
