Please let me know if it not working for you (technically or artistically :)

At this point I am not sure which is "first" or "second" - what you say is 1st
is not the one I saw posted before. But that doesn't matter.
Of the two, I very much prefer the pose with the model seated and looking at
the camera. I very much do not care for the one with the model standing, 3/4
view. The standing pose looks very awkward, it looks like a pose, the facial
expression makes me think that she is about to lose her balance and fall over
but trying very hard to maintain the pose, and she isn't even all that
attractive because of the pose+angle+lighting+tan marks. If I were shooting a
model for prints for her portfolio, I would not include this in the proofs I
showed her. The seated model is very natural, a pleasant expression,
comfortable with herself.

Sasha, I have to +1 Stan's observations on the standing shot (though the tan lines don't bother me much). The pose isn't graceful or fluid. Also I think that I would have preferred that you move back a bit from the model and include the entire cube. After all, it's in the title. :-) And perhaps rotate the cube slightly to give it more dimensionality.

The seated shot is *very* good.
