Better in a way but still getting away from what I saw. Every ting just
gently glowed. You should know that the jpeg you're working with was
produced by fussy editing. I created three different layers, one for
the sea, one for the sky and one for the dock and islands. I sharpened
the resulting composite as much as I could, (in the original full size
image), without causing a haloing at the edges and while still keeping a
more or less photograph look, reduced it in size and then tried to
optimize in the reduced pixel count.

Really Paul's was really too dark. The effect was light and airy.
It's very
frustrating sometimes.
interesting spot, i like the objects on an endless plain, particularly
the lone tree on the island
perhaps if you increase the brightness (or exposure depending on your
toolset) and the saturation slightly, plus sharpen it a bit ... this
gives it more "glow", and helps make the islands seem more defined, at
the expense of some of the highlight detail in the sky (which could be
retained with more fussy editing); rough example here, along with
approximate settings i used:

Don't lose heart! They might want to cut it out, and they'll want to avoid a
lengthily search.
