I met Lillian once and she signed my copy of "Flags Up!" for me - it happens to be the 1st edition, and is therefore quite valuable. I was travelling through Erewhon on my way to Faulenzerland and I rescued her from a bar fight. She was very, very drunk (which is how most people now remember her) so her signature is rather indecipherable, but nevertheless the dedication is quite touching. She wrote "If I ever see you in Blufftävlingen again you'll get what's coming to you".
