That is why I am surprised.
When I mount the mentioned flash units on the hot shoe, I can use the
1/180 second synch.
Strange!

Someone suggested that I might need fresh batteries; replacing the 12V
on the transmitter didn't help.
I will try again after replacing the 2x 1.5V ones on the receiver.
