I'm probably missing something, but how do you know that wasn't the natural
shape of the stem?
Am I supposed to see a difference between the two images? If there is, it must
be very subtle.

Subject: Questioning the DA* 50-135

I was judging on PPG and ran across this one.
It bothered me, seriously.
And it reflects not one bit on the photographer and skills.

The pic & the issue:  http://www.brendemuehl.net/images/sidebyside.html

Here's the EXIF data:  http://www.brendemuehl.net/images/da50135c.jpg

That amount of distortion seems excessive.
And it's a '*' lens none the less.
(I never got any of this from the F35-105.)
What do you folks think?

Sincerely,

Collin Brendemuehl
