Concur with Jack... I don't see anything that jumps out at me as distortion. Optical distortion doesn't bend straight lines going through the center of the frame, and the stem appears to be quite close to the center. Even at the edges, the lens would have to be really, really horrible (or designed as a fisheye) for that sort of curvature to be an optical effect.
