I chose the 105mm over the 90mm non-leaf for a couple of reasons: 1) It was reputed to be sharper wide-open, and I shoot a lot wide-open or near it.
2) The price difference allowed me to buy a helicoid extension tube. 3) It is slightly faster. So, basically, you have to weigh these things against multi-exposure capability and flash sync. I shoot next to no flash, so I haven't really considered any of the leaf lenses. The 105 is a fine lens for walking around and hand-holding or monopod-ing. It was my only 67 lens for more than three years, and it never let me down. -Aaron - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
