Nothing new under the sun - many years ago I was photographing at Lake of the Clouds, in the Porcupine Wilderness State Park in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and came across actual tripod holes in the rocks of one of the favorite views.

I guess someone had a budget and needed an excuse to use it up. Now every one can have exactly the same image taken at the same place electronically guaranteed, sheesh why not just buy postcards.
