...according to a Pentax Forums email that I received about an hour ago. If true, Pentax has a one DSLR line-up. More likely, a new model (or two) is coming. But it still seems odd to me that the old is discontinued before the new is announced. Doesn't seem they did it that way (with the K-x) when they introduced the K-r, but perhaps my memory is faulty. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
