Actually, about.com is entirely a throw-away site. They make their
money off of SEO marketers who need lots of referral links to their
sites to boost their Google page ranking. They'll post any old crud as
long as it contains lots of links or references to the sponsors.

Best to skip about.com and find more authoritative sources for search results.

i think it's a throwaway article ? most people *are not* going to suddenly
make extra cash by "becoming" a photographer or joining fiverr.com; and
"sell stuff" is not exactly an eye-opening tip

however ? nothing to do with making money ? i do think persisting with my
own photography is the key to developing my skills; without persistence,
nothing will come of it
