I'm used to it John. There is so much misinformation about what About.com is that after a while you become numb to it. I know I publish good information and that the vast majority of the other authors who work for About do the same. I know the editorial controls, ethic guidelines, and health reviews that articles are subject to. I know that my readers enjoy my lessons. I know that some of the biggest names in photography equipment talk to me as a friend, not just someone to get reviews from.
I also know that we have no "sponsors". We have advertisements but we don't know from one day to the next or even one minute to the next what those ads will be and they in no way influence what we write about. Which is, by the way, totally up to the writers - we're not given a list of "hey, these are hot keywords - churn it out." Anyway, I digress - some will always call us names no matter what the truth actually is. :) ~Liz On 12/16/11 6:37 PM, "John Sessoms" <[email protected]> wrote: >You didn't notice that the link goes to Liz's blog on about.com? 8-D > > >From: Bruce Walker > >> Actually, about.com is entirely a throw-away site.
