Curious, may have just been me. I wish I had a recording of what I heard in February as that was in a different league. There are some photos on the BBC website now but they don't show a lot. Most of the damage is confined to a couple of smallish areas. But those small areas wore it big time. This is about the 4th or 5th time they've had to dig this crap out. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-16315538 The authorities had recently rezoned them from "orange" to "green" meaning they could move ahead with repairing their houses, but now they're begging to be rezoned to "red" so they can have the government buy their land and move out. I don't blame them as that land should never have been built on in the first place. I'm waiting to find out whether it's slumped or not. If so it could become prone to flooding. The next year or so is going to be interesting as more and more people are planning to leave the city, many going to Australia. Even those without property damage are getting really sick of it. I'd better mention that we're OK and are not planning to go anywhere.
