Anyway, great job, Dave. I think you're now almost ready to move up to
Pentax shooting.

An darned good job of compositing, Dave. I really like the resulting
image itself for the composition. Those stairway lights and curves
form nice leading lines right to the model's face. The overall
lighting is nicely balanced. I think that those lights in the parking
lot lend a dramatic "she's in the spotlight" effect, myself (although
she's actually lit from the other side).
With the knowledge that it's a composite, I looked closer and I can
see a *very* faint shadow around the model. If you painted in some of
the goldish colour of the backlighting it would remove that tiny hint.
Anyway, great job, Dave. I think you're now almost ready to move up to
Pentax shooting. ;-)

Now for my confession: This PESO is actually a composite of 2 separate
photos.
I shot the model in the studio a couple of weeks ago & shot the
background frame this week.
I'm on holidays, it was stupidly hot outside & I was bored so I
decided to give it a shot.
All-in-all I think it turned out alright.
I'm doing a studio shoot/PS compositing workshop next weekend with a
local Perth boy who now lives & works in Southern California:

Once I've done the workshop I can revisit it & have another go using
what I learn at the workshop.
Cheers,
Dave
