I have the Sheridan students and some of our regulars pretty well
trained -- if they come in asking for rush work, they bring a Tim
Horton's double double coffee; if they come in asking for really rush
work, they bring an extra large Horton's double double coffee; if they
require a favour or help or tech advice with their rush work, they bring
a Horton's extra large double double and a sesame bagel with herb and
garlic cream cheese.

One time someone asked me to drop everything and run some film cross
processed, bleach bypassed AND pushed two stops, right away. They said,
"This will cost me more than a coffee, won't it?"

The pad thai was wonderful, and their film was done in two hours.

The moral of this story is Treat Your Lab Guy Right.
