When I shoot live concerts, I'm delighted if my shots-usable to shots-taken ratio is 1 in 10. Usually it's more like 1 in 20. The editor doesn't care how many shots it took to get the results, they just want enough usable results (my opinion anyways). It would be interesting, would it not, to find out what the usable ratio is for the pros. I would think that sitting on the sidelines, machine-gunning with a zillion frames per second, they go through a lot more than just 426 frames in one game! (as an example, my last concert I attended, the first "usable" frame was #5637, the last was #6166. I posted 32 images out of 529 frames shot!) http://charles.robinsontwins.org/photos/2011/new_standards_holiday_show/ if you care! -Charles -- Charles Robinson - [email protected] Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org http://www.facebook.com/charles.robinson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
