I found that it is still possible to find the old Picasa interface.
Select "Profile" from the drop down menu at the top right icon.  When
the Profile page loads click on the "About" tab.  On the right hand
side of the about page you should have "Other profiles" that include a
 link to "Picasa Web Albums",   This should lead you to the old site.
How long this is still available is unknown.  I have read that Google
was phasing out the Picasa brand and I assume the old interface.
