I would think that it would be even safer (this is "nose out", not "nose to the 
curb", right?). If you can see both left and right before pulling out, you're even better off 
than trying to peek into the mirror before making a move.  Seems to me, anyways.

As a regular bike and motorcycle commuter, the size (and/or crash-worthiness) 
of these vehicles doesn't put me off.

The PRICE, however.... yeesh.


They don't get much better mileage than my 1993 Saturn SC2 got either, which I think is appalling.
