I guess I just never buy new vehicles.
I got my model 1989 motorcycle in 1993 for just about $3K and I'm
still riding it.
I got my last Subaru for about $3K about 6 years ago... it's got over
260,000 miles on it and still going strong.
I couldn't stomach paying over $10K for a car. ANY car. ?I know many
do, but it's not for me. ?I'm a cheap son of a gun!
One problem is that used car prices keep pace with new car prices. It's
getting harder to find GOOD used cars for under 10K. Not impossible,
just more and more difficult.
