I agree with Bruce regarding it likely being RFI interference of some kind.
While you obviously can't completely cover a camera, I'd be interested in creating some kind of RFI shielding wrap that would leave the lens exposed and see if that helps. (Obviously, this would work best with the camera preset for the exposure and on a tripod).
