Thanks Brian, I tried cropping without the fence and the hill gets lower the tree closer and it all loses whatever effect it has. Unfortunately to change my viewpoint I would have to stand in the middle of a busy highway or trespass on fenced and posted ground.

And no I really like black & white just not mine.

What have you got against B&W?  >

I like that - the composition is excellent with the foreground placed
low in the frame.  I agree with Rick that the fence is a distraction
but I think cropping it would unbalance the overall image.  Sometimes
you just have to accept what you're given.
