When we lived in St. Charles, Missouri, we'd visit the Clarksville Dam,
north of St. Louis for their Eagle days celebration - biggest gathering of
eagles I'd ever seen outside of Alaska. We watched the lazyeagles get the
stunned fish on the downside of the dam.
We've started to see Bald Eagles the last few years in Traverse City,
Michigan - yeah!

We finally made it to the Quad Cities yesterday after Friday's storm.
We had some spare time and wandered up Rt 67 on the Iowa side of the
river.

There were lots of photographers there with BIG, FAST lenses, tripods,
and Wimberley heads.
It's a 2 1/2 hour drive, but we'll go back.
Sadly, I haven't got much longer lenses or a gimbal tripod mount.
