Hi Bruce,

I rarely use the camera on AF. I'm sitting here at the moment with the LX
and MZ-S and i think that the MZ-S feels like the lag is longer due to the
extra travel in the shutter release button.

I just compared to a Spotmatic, LX and M6. With these cameras you can feel
that there is some free play in the button before the shutter fires. My
finger can be poised with the free play taken up, so as soon as i move the
button it fires, with the MZ-S its harder to judge where this freeplay stops
and shutter fires, in the AF this free play would be focusing though (so i
suppose its not really freeplay on the MZ-S).

I dont currently have an MX to compare it to, but i dont remember it being
any different from the LX really.

Also has any one else noticed that the vertical grip on the battery grip for
the MZ-S puts the eye piece in a reall awkward position? I pointed this out
to another pdml member who agreed.

Regards,
Paul
