Thanks Bob. I think it's possible that some improvement could be effected by 
snaking out as may of the tiles as possible, but I don't think it would be a 
permanent fix. Once they're damaged by tree roots and the like, they clog again 
in a hurry. Maybe I'll try to get a second opinion, but I'm so tired of 
fighting the water down there that i look forward to a complete fix. The 
excavation, new drains and sump pump come with a no-water lifetime guarantee.
