#1: lighting's good, perhaps a little too even? Subject looks a little
tense though; did you take many shots? Bit of retouch, fade those
hotspots, and you're good to go, I'd say.

#2 is way too soft for me. It'd be okay if reduced for use as a
thumbnail, otherwise I'd skip it.
