Thanks, Don. One sees a lot of "characters" along Queen Street West in Toronto. I don't go out of my way to approach them but will Talk to them if they approach me. I also don't often ask to take their photo, but if they ask me, I often do so. I say "often" because if I get a sense that they will expect me to pay for a photo, I continue along my way.
Neither "Happy" nor Wesley asked for money and they had interesting faces so I snapped. I gave Wesley a few bucks after we chatted but that wasn't connected to the photo. Anyway, thanks for the kind words and thanks to all who looked and commented.
