Well my first experiment with these lights is a partal sucess. For $49 cad you get the 1000w dual lights and yes, they do get VERY hot. The grills are removeable but these seem to have an ugly yellow light colour, visible next to your eye. The light was so strong I was able to get 1/125 at F8 in a 15x10x8 ft room with just these lights. The colour cast might also have been my cream walls tho :(
