How fast do you want to get?

If you have shoot with a Vivitar 283/5, 4600, 3700, 5600 (there are others,
too) you can have the "mother of all fast flash recharges" using a 510V
battery and Vivitar's HVP1. With a fresh 510, it will keep up with an LX
motor drive(!) unless your flashes are all full power... and even then, you
only have to drop back to about 3.5 to 4 frames per sec.

Affording the batteries is another trick (about $75 a pop last time I
looked).

Subject: Flash recycle time

I am looking at ways to improve flash recycle time. Right now I am
using NiMH AA's in my AF360FGZ's and would like to improve the time.
Wondering if anyone has experience with Lithium AA's in relation to
flash recharge time or has used the Quantum batteries with any flash
units?

Thanks,

 Bruce Dayton
