Not yet.   but it could be fun.  

An idea I had years ago when I first saw someone spinning fire is that it would 
be cool to build a staff with colored LEDs along the length, and position 
sensors in the tips, and a receiver in it to control the LEDs, so that as it 
spun through space a computer could control what lights were on, and the lights 
could define three dimensional shapes.
