Most of us have missed the point. Our Canadian friend said he had no permanent address in Canada. And no country will allow you in in this situation. Every country has a minimum requirement to be let in on arrival at an airport or pre apply for a Visa. I am from Bangalore, India, and have never had a problem at any airport in the US or Canada, even on multiple entries to and fro US - Canada or vice vera.
