Thank you, Ann!

I hadn't really thought about it as a photo essay, but I suppose that's essentially what it is. And I do agree it could benefit from a bit of paring. I originally approached it as more or less a collection of glorified snapshots, but I guess therein lies the distinction.

I'll let a few days pass and give them a look with a fresh perspective to see which ones need to stay and which need to go.

Many thanks for the suggestions, Ann. They'll be at the forefront of my mind when I start separating the wheat from the chaff.

Glad it was "a few miles down the road" from you and you didn't hear the freight train...

Nice photo essay - might drop a couple that are redundant but well done I'd say - wether channel worthy -

"No Outlet" indeed :=-]

Like the tidiness of the church..
think 5384 and 5388 and 5403 , too as those are especially strong in terms of showing the weirdness of the storm. The overturned mobile
home next to the little bird lawn doodads that didn't soffer any damage,
the twisted metal structure and the little red kiddy car...etc..

I think they would have more impact if you pruned the amount of frames just a bit.

So . . . this happened this morning, just a few miles down the road from
my house around 5:00 AM. I never heard a thing.
