So this is a "unifocal" lens? What, as opposed to a multifocal lens? Does that 
mean it only focuses to one distance? Like the Brownie I had as a kid, like 
from 6 feet to infinity? 

Or do they (as I suspect) really mean "prime" lens. In which case, why didn't 
they just say "prime lens"?

The "new" XS 40mm is a face lifting of the "old" DA 40mm, which is believed 
to be a remake of the old M 40mm, which...
