Unifocal lens? I read it as a unicycle lens, and was really excited for a moment, but then I reread it and that moment passed...

I thought the new 40mm had elements that projected out the back and  might
conflict with the mirror.  Apparently not.
The "new" XS 40mm is a face lifting of the "old" DA 40mm, which is believed
to be a remake of the old M 40mm, which...
