The photo works by itself. But if cropping is a necessity, I humbly suggest to 
also rotate the image to show that the flower is drifting (if it is?). 

Its "pistil" (stigma?) leans to the right as if it has a kind of inertia while 
the flower is pushed to the left. This suggests the water flowing force and the 
flower movement. By rotating a bit the flower to the right, the effect may be 
accentuated. Then, cropping the left of the shot moves closer the border where 
the flower will soon disappear, suggesting a short-lived appearance. 

Just an idea, maybe better illustrated by a sample if you allow me to do so.
